January 29, 30: Harrold Gomez and Simon

A photo of Harrold Gomez

One night after watching the premier of Eddie Murphy’s HBO special, Delirious, Harrold realized his guidance counselor was wrong. He realized not only could he make a living talking crazy, but unlike most money making opportunities the ghetto had to offer, this one was legal. Harrold is now a favorite across the Northwest, and has played various dives and colleges through 43 states, and 2 Canadian provinces. His humor touches on a wide range of topics, from his twin daughters, to his cool 70 yr. old dad who "refuses to cut his Jerry Curl." He was the winner of the 2002 International Seattle Comedy Competition, and a finalist in the 2003 Comedy Central Laugh Riots. He has opened for the likes of Bernie Mack, Chris Rock, Bill Maher and Ray Romano to name a few. He can be seen in the Indie film Homeless, and was also the opening act for the Dave Chappelle Block Party Tour that kicked off at The Paramount Theater.

Here he is at the Bluz to deliver weapons-grade cyncism! Morgan started in the hard knocks school of comedy clubs at the age of 17. February 19, 20: Luke Francis

A photo of Luke Francis

Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Luke Francis is a slow rising comedian known for his forgetfulness.  His sluggish move to the top is most likely caused by witty two-liners, fake “reality-style” true made-up stories based on derived tales of lore, or unoriginal music that he plays on one of 15 different instruments. Once hailed as the world’s most renowned triangle-ist’s with his humorous Death-Metal style, he has taken captive several audiences. Luke has performed with some of the smallest names in the industry today and in some of the most unnoticeable comedy clubs in the U.S.A, U.K, and beyond! His credits include but are not limited to: “COPS” (over 33 appearances!) (T.V.) , “Tangled Web “(Direct to DVD 2010), and the upcoming film “Grilling Bobby Hicks” (2010)

February 26, 27: Huck Flyn

Photo of Huck Flyn

Growing up in Southern California in the 70s, Huck Flyn has played guitar since he was 10 years old. He did his first gig at age 11, a graduation dance. Huck was a class clown and he always had funny quips in between songs when playing with the band. In the late seventies, he started going to the Comedy Store in Hollywood on a regular basis and became a fan. In the early 90's, Huck did a guest set at a comedy club in the bay area. The crowd went wild, and the rest is history. He started working with such notables as Bill Engvall, Kevin Pollack, Paula Poundstone, and many more. Soon thereafter, Huck got a break opening for bands such as Joe Walsh, Lonestar, Marshal Tucker, and Sammy Hagar. Huck has always thought that comedy and music were a perfect fit and so the "Rock N' Roll Comedian" is a perfect moniker for Flyn.
