Every Friday and Saturday night, September through June, Uncle D's Comedy Underground, Inc. brings award winning performers to Spokane! Visit Spokane's only Las Vegas-style showroom with full bar and dinner menu throughout the show. Doors open at 7:00pm, shows start at 8:00pm. Tickets are $10 at the door.

March 5, 6: Jay Wendell Walker
Jay Wendell
Walker has been described by critical reviewers as a "Heavy
Weight Champion of Comedy". Raised in a family of vaudeville
performers, his career began at the age of 18. Show business took
Jay Wendell as far south as Mexico, and as far north as Canada and
Alaska where he began learning his comic craft. He is well known
for his ability to relate to any age audience and adapt to any
situation. Over the years, he has emceed at beauty pageants,
performed for private clubs, entertained at county fairs, and
headlined at numerous comedy clubs throughout the United States and
Canada. That's just the tip of the iceberg. His voice has been
heard by radio listeners and the "expressive mug" of the gregarious
comedian is familiar to television buffs. Jay Wendell Walker's
rapid-fire monologue, story-telling, and hilarious facial
expressions have gained for him success in many comedy clubs
throughout the nation. Jay Wendell has made the northwest his home,
but he enjoys traveling throughout the country upto 50 weeks a
year. Jay Wendell Walker is a past president of the Seattle
Independent Comedy CO-OP. He is a member of the American Federation
of Television and Radio Artists, and a member of Platform Speaker
Services International.

Art Krug has payed a lot of dues in his 23 year rise to the middle. He has performed at comedy clubs, colleges, corporate events, and hotel lounges...all of which helped to prepare him for the day when he would appear on a tour bus full of sleepy retirees driving around downtown Portland, Oregon, his home town. "Making them laugh was the easy part", he remembers. " The real challenge was keeping my thumb on that button for 90 minutes." When his agent got a call early in his career asking if she had a singing gorilla that could embarass someone at a sushi bar, she said, "No. But I have a comedian.", setting up a series of events that ended with the client calling to say they'd pay the 75 dollars but "he didn't even try". So give Art a call. He'll be sure to liven up your biker picnic, fraternity hazing, or mall opening. And if it's stand up comedy, he can do that too.

Tom McTigue has the ability to find humor in some very surprising places: the roof of your mouth, the banks of the Nile, the birdfeeder in the back yard, even the Pope's bathtub. His gift of marrying the obvious with the obscure, his literate style, and his charismatic personality make him an original comic act with broad appeal. If you think his face looks familiar, you have good reason. A former series regular on television's Baywatch, Tom has also appeared on ER, Roseanne, Beverly Hills 90210, Quantum Leap and has been featured in over 100 national TV commercials.
